The meeting of the faculty of education on 3rd May approved the draft curriculum with minor modifications and authorised the Chairman to submit the final version in the university before 31st July 2013 with modifications, to enable implementation of the same from 2013 admissions onwards. Thanks a lot in making the Curriculum revision a reality in this short span of time. It was materialized only because of the unity among teacher educators of our university and the put forth by you as a convener and member of the committee. Still the curriculum is in the draft form, even though 95% work is over certain modifications have to be discussed and settled in the meeting, and the final version brought out. In this connection I have contacted you earlie rand fixed 15th May as the date of Steering Committee meeting. As the dean, faculty of education is out of station on 15th, the above steering committee meeting is postponed to 17th May (friday) at Govt College of Teacher Education, Trivandrum at 10 am. Make it convenient to attend. Bring a copy of the curriculum of your subject and stationary and printing bills if any for settlement. Tomorrow I will be sending a copy of the body of the curriculum with certain modifications. Kindly go through it and bring modifications/points to be included/deleted etc so that we can finalize the draft.
Also we have to prepare a model time table, academic calendar, proforma for assessment of teaching practice-community living camp-other important activities etc. If possible send guidelines and suggestions. thanking you.
