A CRUCIAL SHIFT IN SYLLABI OF OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

The Board of Studies in Education (Pass) approved a crucial change in the composition of syllabi of Optional Subjects. The Pedagogical Analysis papers of Semester 1 and 2 are being redrafted with optional specific content strands giving significance to Pedagogical Content Knowledge Analysis (Sem 1) and Techno-Pedagogical Content Knowledge Analysis (Sem 2). The details are waiting for publication in due course.

Go Ahead for the Revised Curriculum by the Board of Studies

A special meeting of the Board of Studies in Education (Pass) met on 16th April has shown a green signal for the revised B.Ed. curriculum to get placed before the Faculty of Education for ratification. The BOS is again meeting on 23rd Tuesday to knite in finishing touches to the annexures, proformas and schedules to be part of the curriculum document. Let us wait for the white smoke.
